Introduction

At Marine Parade Town Council, we recognise that an important aspect of the improvement in the quality of life of residents is a beautiful and clean physical environment to live in - a goal that we constantly strive to achieve and maintain. At the same time, establishing personal contact and close rapport with the residents to inculcate a strong sense of belonging and identity is equally important for us to forge the links necessary for fostering sound community relations with the residents.

Marine Parade Town is made up of Braddell Heights, Geylang Serai, Kaki Bukit, Kampong Ubi-Kembangan, MacPherson, Marine Parade and Mountbatten.

A total population of 250,000 people reside in this 39km² area which stretches from the East to the North.

Over the years, Marine Parade Town has grown in stature and maturity, with significant changes, both physically and socially.

From an old and plain estate, the Town has transformed to an attractive and colourful one, complete with a distinctive townscape and a cohesive yet vibrant community.
