Kembangan - Chai Chee Town Day 2012
With the New Year settling into lives for our fellow Singaporeans, Kembangan – Chai Chee residents shared this moment of new chapter together on 7 January 2012 at the open space beside Block 35 Chai Chee Avenue. It was a dazzling night where residents come together to enjoy the carnival atmosphere of Kembangan – Chai Chee Town Day. The event is brightened up by the radiance of lights in display of dove, stars and twelve signs of Zodiac. The symbolism blesses the New Year with every good wish for harmonious living.
Clean our Town - Kindness in Action
The "Clean our Town - Kindness in Action" was held on 13 November 2011 at the open space beside Block 50 Marine Terrace. Over 1,000 participants joined in the "Walk for Rice" activity in exchange for rice donation. Marine Parade residents, various grassroots organisations and volunteers also played their part to up-keep the estate by picking up litters to promote a cleaner and greener environment.
MacPherson Town Day 2011
With the theme “Towards a Gracious and Harmonious Community”, a Racial Harmony Family Drawing Competition was held to encourage the young participants to learn and understand the importance of racial harmony and allowing them to express their talent and imagination through art.

At the event on 23 July 2011, participants set the first record of the “Most Number of People Putting on Temporary Tattoo in Support of Racial Harmony” in the Singapore Book of Records with a target set of 1500 entries. Schools from the MacPherson Constituency gathered for the first time to present a multicultural dance segment to celebrate the nation’s success in racial harmony.

Marine Parade Town Carnival 2011
On 27 February 2011, the Marine Parade Town Council launched its Town Renewal Plan at the open space beside Block 50 Marine Terrace.

In line with the theme, the objective of the Town Renewal Plan is to provide a quality living environment for the residents in our Town. The proposed Town Renewal plans are developed based on every estate’s unique demography, features and feedback from residents.

Residents can now look forward to various upgrading and renewal programmes to improve the living environment. More improvement works will be carried out at Marine Parade Town to improve the community spaces and vibrancy of the estate.

X'mas @ Ubi-Wonderland 2010
The X’mas @ Ubi-Wonderland was held on 11 December 2010 at the Harmony Garden, next to Blk 333 Ubi Ave 1. The carnival commenced with traditional Christmas Carols and residents were seen grooving to the tunes of their Christmas favourites.

Situated in front of Blk 333 Ubi Ave 1, a 25ft high Christmas tree was made up of 5,000 pieces of wishing stars, each individually penned with wishes by residents. The event also witnessed the record-setting feat of the largest Christmas tree made of wishing stars in the Singapore Book of Records.

Upon the Christmas light-up, the Harmony Garden was instantly transformed into a “Magical Christmas Garden” with shimmering lights and glistening blue stars. Kampong Ubi-Kembangan residents had a memorable and enjoyable Christmas experience brought closer to their homes.

Let's Clean Our Town 2010
In conjunction with the National Clean and Green Singapore, the Town Council has launched a "Let's Clean our Town" campaign on 14 November 2010 at Block 51 Old Airport Road. A series of litter-picking exercises were held over the weekends during October and November in Marine Parade Town where residents, grassroots leaders and Town Council staff participated in the litter-picking exercises.

In addition, 20 awards were given to the Cleanest Precinct, Food Centre, Public Toilet and Best Cleaner categories, which aim to recognise all parties for their contribution in promoting and maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene within the Town.
