Beyond our upcoming projects in each division within Marine Parade Town, we also have exciting town-wide initiatives in store for our residents, including the construction of new multi-generational spaces, and the adoption of new technology to better our maintenance services!

ENHANCED LIFT RELIABILITY

Marine Parade Town is committed to providing safer, smoother and more reliable lifts while embracing smart technology to better serve our residents.

REPLACING 170 LIFTS FOR SMOOTHER, SAFER RIDES!

Over the next five years, we will be replacing 170 lifts across our Town to provide residents a smoother, safer and more reliable ride.

Just like our phones and home appliances, lifts wear out over time too! That’s why, under the Lift Replacement Programme (LRP), we are progressively upgrading older lifts with new ones.

These new lifts will come with enhanced safety features and improved reliability, giving you greater peace of mind.

We know lift works can be inconvenient, but we’ll do our best to ensure that works are carried out smoothly to minimise disruptions. At the end of it, you’ll enjoy a brand-new, modern lift that would bring greater convenience in the long run and make daily life better for you and your family.

BETTER LIFT RELIABILITY WITH REMOTE MONITORING

We’re proud to be the first Town Council to adopt Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics (RM&D) technology for our lifts! Right now, 100 lifts are already equipped with RM&D, and we’ll be progressively upgrading another 137 lifts in the next phase across Marine Parade Town.

What’s RM&D?

It’s a smart system that uses sensors and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to continuously monitor lift performance in real time. It can detect potential issues early and prevent breakdowns—meaning faster response times, improved safety, and fewer disruptions for residents. This helps catch issues early and keep the lifts running smoothly

With ongoing lift upgrades powered by RM&D, residents can look forward to a future of smoother, more dependable lifts in Marine Parade Town!

NEW WATER PLAY PARK AND FITNESS COMMUNAL SPACES IN MARINE PARADE

We’re excited to introduce a new water play park and fitness spaces (linked by a green pathway) at Marine Terrace, designed to bring families and the community closer together! These spaces are packed with a host of amenities that everyone—young and old—can enjoy.

The first gathering space will be located near Marine Terrace MRT Station Exit 1 and Blk 57 Marine Terrace, and it’s all about family fun with a splash of the sea! Inspired by Marine Terrace’s coastal identity, this aquatic-themed space will feature a water play area, a flying fox, and an iconic playground designed to bring waves of fun to children. For families and friends, there’ll be benches to relax on or simply chill under the trellises. To promote sustainability, solar photovoltaic (PV) panels will be installed on top of the sheltered rest areas to harness solar energy. This energy will power the water pumps for the fountain and water play area.

The second gathering space will be located at Blk 54 Marine Terrace, and it’s perfect for those who want to stay active or enjoy some festive moments. Residents can look forward to new exercise equipment to get a good workout, while the outdoor swings and lush greenery make it a great spot to relax and unwind. We’re also sprucing up the area with new floor finishes to make it even more welcoming. Plus, an event pavilion will be built—so whether it’s for community events, fitness programmes, or festive celebrations, there’s always something happening!

With these new spaces, Marine Terrace is set to be an even livelier, greener, and more vibrant home for everyone. Stay tuned for more updates!
